1. What is Survota

Survota is a corporate prediction-market survival game. Companies ("Administrators") run seasons for their employees ("Players"). Administrators set up the game; players make predictions and vote each week.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the minimum data needed to run the game:

  • Account data — name and work email address, provided at sign-up or by your employer.
  • Gameplay data — predictions, votes, scores, and any confessional posts you submit.
  • Session data — authentication cookies that keep you signed in.
  • Usage data — pages visited and actions taken, for product improvement.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To operate the game — scores, tribal council, immunity, and leaderboards.
  • To send you game-related emails (weekly predictions, tribal alerts, results).
  • To provide your Administrator with aggregated insights about team sentiment and prediction accuracy.
  • To improve the product and fix bugs.

4. Confessionals

Confessional posts are anonymous to other players. They are visible to Administrators and Moderators of your season. Do not post anything you would not want your employer to read.

5. Cookies

We use cookies only for authentication (to keep you logged in) and to remember preferences such as dismissed banners. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. By accepting cookies, you consent to this use.

6. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting your game Administrator or emailing support@survota.com. Gameplay records (scores, votes) may be retained in anonymised form.

7. Player Responsibilities

  • Play fairly — do not attempt to manipulate results through technical means.
  • Keep your login credentials private.
  • Do not post harmful, discriminatory, or illegal content in confessionals.
  • Accept that game outcomes (elimination, scoring) are final once processed by the system.

8. Administrator Responsibilities

  • Obtain appropriate consent from employees before adding them to a season.
  • Ensure that game questions comply with your company's HR policies.
  • Keep your Admin account secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

Survota is provided as-is. We are not liable for outcomes arising from game decisions, including workplace relationships affected by gameplay. This is a game — treat it as one.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of Survota after changes constitutes acceptance.
